Secretary General

Hello world! My name is Muhammad Fusenig and I am a third year International Relations and Economics double major, with the intent of pursuing a career in law. Like most of you, I joined Model United Nations with absolutely no experience, but I soon fell in love with the vigor, wit, and intellectual stimulation that defines MUN. In my short tenure with the club I’ve worked as both the Undersecretary General of Public Relations as well the Secretary General of AggieMUN, our intercollegiate conference. Coupled with my administrative work inside of the club, I have been active in travel and competition, which includes a 100% award rate up to this point. Aside from the fact that I most assuredly jinxed myself, I keep busy with failed attempts at skateboarding, avoiding my friends, and reading. My favorite books from this past summer have to be The Brothers Karamazov and the Count of Monte Cristo, while Ulysses was absolute hogwash.

Head Delegates

Margaret Cooper

Margaret Cooper is a third year at UC Davis where she is currently studying Environmental Science Management with a focus on natural resources and Spanish. She has been actively involved in Model United Nations since high school at Los Alamitos High in Southern California. Margaret is dedicated to hosting and competing at conferences with UC Davis Model United Nations. This previous year she participated on the board as Delegate Preparation: General Assembly and as Director General of AggieMUN III. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking through the different landscapes of California, working on the Student Farm, and reading news stories covering foreign and environmental affairs. She is looking forward to being the Head Delegate for UC Davis’s travel team and leading the team to its highest potential.

Aubrie Bryant

My name is Aubrie Bryant, and I could not be more delighted to be a Head Delegate alongside my friend and teammate Margaret Cooper. I am a fourth year double major in International Relations and Global Disease Biology, but I will be staying an extra year to finish out both of my degrees. Most people might be upset about that, but I love Davis enough to willingly subject my future self to extra loan payments. In addition to my work with MUN, I hold two positions in the Campus Recreation and Unions Department, and am a certified EMT. In my limited free time, I enjoy rainy days, reading books, hiking, playing soccer, playing video games, and spending time with my family and friends.
As Head Delegate, I will work alongside Margaret and the Delegate Preparation team to train for all of the conferences that we plan on attending this year, held by schools like UCLA, UCSC, and even McGill University in Canada. In addition to preparing delegates to dominate conferences throughout the circuit, I will be responsible for travel plans and itineraries, booking hotels, and ensuring that all aspects of travel and competition go off without a hitch.

I look forward to spending this year working with my teammates and leading DavisMUN on the track to success!

USG of Finance

Alyssa Gauthier-Barrett, a third year Political Science Major and Economic minor, is originally from Orange County. She has been in MUN for two quarters, avidly traveling for the team and gaining experience in hosting and running a conference. In her spare time, she enjoys avidly watching movies, watching political TV and day time shows, and swimming. After she graduates this year, she plans on taking a year off before she departs for law school.

USG of Operations and Technology

I’m Nick Archibald, the Undersecretary General of Operations and Technology. I am a third year History and Political Science double major emphasizing in International Relations and Middle Eastern History. This will be my second full year as a member of Model United Nations and I could not have been happier with my choice to join the family. From competing in multiple conferences to hosting, I’ve made many lifelong friends, had unforgettable experiences, and improved my skills and confidence in public speaking and taking a leadership role.

I am an avid reader as well as enthusiast of bad movies. In my spare time I enjoy writing poetry and short stories and recently found a love for theater. My life goal is to travel the world and live life to the fullest everyday. I cannot wait to see how MUN grows this year and how you all will be a part of what makes this club special.
